Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu [1,330 m], and transfer to the hotel - (B):

Our representative from Adventure Treks Nepal will be at the gate of Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome and transfer you to the hotel before organizing an orientation session for the upcoming days. Ask questions related to the trip to your guide, and introduce yourself to your fellow trekkers, which encourages group bonding and makes you feel more prepared. Nevertheless, you can share your thoughts freely if there is anything special you would love to do while in the capital city, as we will gladly manage that for you to make your stay more memorable. In the evening, stroll around the bustling streets of the local bazaars, purchase any essentials, and go to bed before it gets too late after final preparation for the next day.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara [970 m] - (B):

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu, head to the picturesque city of Pokhara by driving on the Prithivi Highway alongside the Trishuli River. On the way, you will enjoy glimpses of captivating scenery as the travel passes through traditional settlements, terraced fields, green forests, and high hills. Check into the hotel to unwind after you reach Pokhara by mid-afternoon.With some free time, discover nearby destinations, including Phewa Lakeside, to enjoy its tranquil environment, the shadow of Machhapuchhre in the lake, and the surrounding magnificent sights. Explore various restaurants and cafes to savor different local cuisines prepared by local people. Before bedtime, prepare yourself for a prolonged mountain journey in the Annapurna region, depending on the Annapurna Base Camp Trekking itinerary.

Day 3: Drive to Nayapul, trek to Ulleri [2,020 m] - (B,L,D):

Wake up early in the cool atmosphere of Pokhara with excitement to reach Nayapul, the initial point of this 14-day hike, which is approximately 40 kilometers from Pokhara. After a thrilling drive of an hour and a half, start the trek by walking on trails lined with varied vegetation that take you to Birethanti. Continue the journey after verifying your Annapurna Conservation Area Permit and Trekkers Information Management System Card at the Checkpoints of Birethanti. Cross the suspension bridge over the river, and proceed to the left alongside the slope to Tikhedhunga, where you cross the Bhurungdi Khola River through two suspension bridges. Afterward, climb up to Ulleri for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Trek to Ghorepani [2,810 m] - (B,L,D):

After a hearty breakfast, make your way towards Ghorepani, a quaint village of the Gurung community, where you can find comfortable teahouses encompassed by towering Himalayas and dense forests of rhododendrons, traversing through settlements of Banthati and Nangethati, as well as crossing a river through a suspension bridge. Beautiful rhododendron forests, breathtaking scenery, and sunrises are major highlights of Ghorepani, which is renowned as the most favored pausing spot for hikers.

Day 5: Sunrise trip to Poonhill [3, 210 m] Trek to Chule [2,375 m] via Tadapani [2,630 m] - (B,L,D):

After your guide checks the weather forecast, you will go to enjoy the sunrise from Poon Hill early in the morning. Take photographs against the beautiful backdrop at an elevation of 3210 m, which also offers a view of Dhampus Peak, Nilgiri, Tukuche Peak, Machhapuchhre, Barahi Shikhar, and Dhaulagiri. After enjoying the charm of the surroundings, return to the teahouse and continue towards Chule after having breakfast.Ascend to Thabala Hill, from where you will have a spectacular view of snow-capped mountains, and move to Deurali through descending trails along with teahouses. Afterward, the descending trail leads you to a river to cross it and subsequently climbs up to Tadapani, from where you will head left toward Chule. Enjoy the teahouse, communicating with locals, and enjoying delicious food.

Day 6: Trek to Chhomrong [2,170 m] - (B,L,D):

This day of the trek starts with walking through rhododendron forests and terraced fields along cascading waterfalls to reach Chhomrong, the last established human settlement before climbing up to higher, remote villages such as Deurali and Annapurna Base Camp. You can enjoy the journey with stunning vistas, despite the highs and lows along the way. Reaching the day hike’s destination, you will have relief while standing in the magnificent environment of Chhomorong village, nestled in the lap of the massive Annapurna mountain range. Spend the night at a cozy teahouse after having a delicious Himalayan meal.

Day 7: Trek to Deurali [3230 m] - (B,L,D):

Before climbing up to Annapurna Base Camp, based on a 14-day itinerary, proceed towards Deurali, descending to Chhomrong Khola at first, where the river waits for you to cross it through a suspension bridge. From here, the uphill trails take you to Kuldi (3350 m) through Tilche and Sinuwa. Traversing settlements such as Bamboo after a few steep descents from Kuldi, you will follow the path along the west bank of Modi Khola that leads you upwards with gradual ascents. Before the day’s destination with ascending trails, you cross by settlements of Dovan (2630 m) through the Himalayan Hotel (2900 m) and Hinko Cave (3160 m). This village of Deurali serves as one of the alpine settlements for the acclimatization period for Annapurna Base Camp and Machhapuchhre Base Camp. After a walk through quite rough terrains, enjoy an overnight at the teahouse in a magnificent environment, surrounded by stunning cliffs and glaciers, and snow-covered mountains.

Day 8: Trek to Annapurna Base camp [4,130 m] - (B,L,D):

With great excitement, wake up early in the morning, as today is the most anticipated day to reach the base of Mt. Annapurna, the highest point of the trek. While standing at an elevation of 4130 m, you will forget all pains in your legs and other stresses. Every effort to reach the base camp through steep trails pays off, providing you with the most awe-inspiring vistas of mountains, cool alpine air, and the raw charm of nature. Take several pictures in such a dramatic environment, which is also decorated with vibrant prayer flags, giving you spiritual satisfaction. As you reach earlier there, you have enough time to enjoy the scenes and valuable time with your fellow trekkers before the mountain weather becomes unstable due to chilly winds. Have fun to the fullest while spending a night under the skies, full of brighter stars.

Day 9: Trek to Bambo or Sinuwa [2,340 m] - (B,L,D):

Depending on the Annapurna Base Camp trekking itinerary, it is a day to return to Bamboo, climbing down towards Bamboo through the same trails used to get to the Base Camp after a wonderful time there. Descending the trail makes your journey easier to reach the day’s destination, although the hiking distance and duration are quite longer. If you have a sufficient period, proceed to Sinuwa again with most of the descending trails. Otherwise, spend a night at Bamboo, enjoying its wonderful hospitality, cultures, and delicious food.

Day 10: Trek to Jhinu Danda [1,760 m] - (B,L,D):

It’s also a day of adventurous walks, which leads to Jhinu Dana, a popular destination of the ABC trek trails, where hikers can enjoy natural hot springs. After a tasty breakfast, make your way towards Kuldighar with ascending trails, and descend to Chhomrong Khola before reaching the destination. As soon as you reach Jhinu Danda, check into the teahouse and take dips in naturally hot water to heal your sore muscles after a hike of long days.After the relaxation session, discover the village, and learn unique traditions of locals with the observation of the breathtaking scenery of the surroundings.

Day 11: Trek to Samrung then drive to Pokhara [970 m] - (B,L):

Leaving Jhinu Danda behind, the descending trail leads you toward Samrung, a village of stone houses dominated by the Gurung community and famous for its warm traditional hospitality. In the first phase of this day trek, you will descend to the river, which beckons you to cross it via a long suspension bridge, the longest one on the entire journey. After crossing the bridge, begin ascending uphill to reach the place for a drive to Pokhara city alongside the river of Modi Khola. You will enjoy this 4WD of 3-4 hours, sharing others' Himalayan experiences after an hour hike. Concluding the official trekking at Samrung, you can either take a rest or visit the remaining places of Pokhara when you reach there.

Day 12: Mountain Flight to Kathmandu [1,338m]. "B"

After breakfast in pokhara in the morning, we have a mountain flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu; it is a thrilling exciting flight over forests, fields and villages with the Himalayas at the background. On arrival, we transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel. (If you wish to drive please infrom).

Day 13: Free day in Kathmandu [1,330 m] - (B):

As you have a free day in Kathmandu, you can discover several tourist areas around the Valley, such as Patan Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which showcase the ancient architecture, wooden crafts, and pottery preserved for centuries in the late king’s palaces. Other captivating destinations are the Central Zoo of Kathmandu, the Kathmandu Fun Park, Chandragiri Hill Station, Godavari Botanical Garden, etc.After exploration of cultural and historical spots, you can either discover various restaurants to taste various food items, including Western and Chinese meals, along with Nepalese cuisines, or go to the hotel for a rest. In the evening, stroll around the lively streets of markets, including Thamel, Asan, and Bouddha, to purchase souvenirs from the country of the Himalayas for your loved ones.

Day 14: Fly back home - (B):

This is the final day of the Annapurna Base Camp Trekking 14 days package, which ends after dropping you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport. When our representative from Adventure Treks Nepal leaves you there 2 or 3 hours earlier than the scheduled flight, you will wave your hands in departure, thanking our company for the service.
