The Everest panorama trek is a short and easy adventure in the Khumbu region (Everest region). If you are looking for a quick trip to witness Mount Everest views without the risk of altitude sickness, then this is the ideal trek for you.
You will get to experience the rugged Himalayan trail, diverse climate, beautiful Sherpa villages, and incredible mountain vistas. In less than two weeks, you can complete the Everest panorama trek. Our itinerary is well crafted to provide you ample time in the mountains to enjoy nature.
You will not be rushed. Get a full day in Kathmandu before the trek starts to do some sightseeing and trek preparations. Likewise, after returning to Kathmandu, you get one more full day in the city to rest and shop before your final departure.
Unlike most of the Everest panorama trek packages, this is by far the best in terms of itinerary and cost. The highest point you will touch is the Hotel Everest View, located above Namche Bazaar at 3,962 meters (13,000 ft). You will also explore the Khumjung village, which most of the itineraries do not include.

Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel
You will arrive in Kathmandu on this day. Our team will take care of your airport-to-hotel commute. They will pick you up in a private four-wheeler and help you with luggage.
Day 2: Full-day sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath
Start the day with a guided sightseeing of some of the tourist sites in Kathmandu. Visit Bouddhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square with our friendly guide. These monuments present a glimpse of Nepali art, architecture, and culture.After the tour, the guide will drop you back at the hotel. On the remaining day, you will prepare for the trek. Meet with your mountain guide and learn about the trek plan. Purchase any last-minute trekking gear and pack your duffle bags.
Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu/Ramechhap to Lukla airport and trek to Phakding (2,610 m/8,563 ft)
You will fly from Kathmandu to Lukla on this day. As per the time of the year, you will take the Lukla flight either from Kathmandu Airport or Ramechhap Airport. You will leave your hotel around 1:00 AM and drive 4 to 5 hours to reach Ramechhap Airport to catch a morning flight to Lukla if trekking in the spring or autumn seasons.From Lukla, follow a downhill route and descend to Phakding village. You will trek via rhododendron forests, crossing several suspension bridges and small settlements. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River. Enjoy the view of Mt. Khumbila and Kongde Ri on the way.
Day 4: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar through rhododendrons and magnolia forests. The entire route is connected with many suspension bridges along with the long Hillary Suspension Bridge. Register your permits at the police checkpoint upon reaching Monjo. From here, follow the uphill route that steeply goes via dense forests to Namche Bazaar.
Day 5: Acclimatization day- hike to the Hotel Everest View
This is your acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. This rest day will help you avoid altitude sickness. You will spend the morning hiking to one of the highest hotels in the world, Everest View Hotel. The view of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam are phenomenal from here. After the hike, return to Namche Bazaar to spend the remaining day.
Day 6: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
The trail from Namche Bazaar follows uneven hillsides to Kyangjuma. From here, descend to Phungi Thanga and follow an uphill route to Tengboche village. You will visit Tengboche monastery here and get to see a superb view of Mt. Everest and Mt. Ama Dablam from here.
Day 7: Trek from Tengboche to Khumjung village
From Namche Bazaar, you will hike to the Khumjung village. The trail follows uneven hillsides. In this village, you will visit the ancient Khumjung monastery and also get to explore the Tenzing Hillary School. Spend time with the locals, seeing their daily lifestyle. Please do not feel shy to talk to them.
Day 8: Trek from Khumjung village to Phakding
From Khumjung village, you will retrace the trail to Phakding. Trek back to Namche Bazaar and descend from here through lush forests.
Day 9: Trek from Phakding to Lukla
From Phakding, the trail ascends along the Dudh Koshi River to Lukla. You will cross many suspension bridges on the way and also trek via small settlements. The entire route goes through lush rhododendrons and magnolia forests.
Day 10: Morning flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla airport & farewell dinner in the late evening
Today, you will fly back to Kathmandu. You will take a morning flight. Upon landing, the guide will drop you at your hotel. The remaining day is leisure. You can spend as you wish.
Day 11: Free day in Kathmandu
You have a full day free in Kathmandu. Spend as you wish. Visit famous tourist sites and get to know Nepali culture, art, and architecture closely. Do not forget to buy souvenirs as today is your last day in Kathmandu.
Day 12: Trip ends! Fly back home with memories to cherish forever
You will depart from Kathmandu today. Our team will drop you at the airport and bid you our last goodbyes.
