Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu Transfer to the Hotel [1,338m].
Our representative from Adventure Treks Nepal will transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. We will organize a welcome dinner, where you can meet your trekking guide and fellow trekkers. You can ask your guide about the journey and enjoy the evening with cultural dances, warm hospitality, and Nepalese food items.
Day 2: Drive to Syabrubesi [1,503m].
Leaving the hustle and bustle of the vibrant capital city, a thrilling drive takes you to the village of Syabrubeshi, approximately 122 km northwest of the valley. With the view of the Trishuli River, terraced fields, traditional villages, and lush forests, reach the destination within 5-6 hours for overnight stays.
Day 3: Trek from Syabrubeshi to Lama Hotel [2,470 m].
After a hearty breakfast in the serene atmosphere of Syabrubeshi, make your way towards Lama Hotel, traversing several small settlements and rhododendron forests and crossing a suspension bridge over the Bhote Koshi River before reaching Rimche. Continuing the journey, reach today’s stopping spot, where you will find many hotels and restaurants with warm hospitality.
Day 4: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village [3,430 m].
With smooth walking on trails adorned with dense forests of rhododendrons, oaks, and maples along the Langtang River, continue the journey until Langtang village, renowned for its breathtaking scenery and vistas of the Himalayas, including Langtang Lirung (7234 m). Before reaching this beautiful place of wonderful houses made of stones, you pass by traditional Tamang villages and yak pasturelands.
Day 5: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa [3,865 m].
The journey that begins with steep ascents, traversing villages such as Sindhum and Yamphu, leads you towards Kyanjing Gompa. Cross Laja Khola and proceed on the trip with awe-inspiring sights of Mt. Langtang Lirung, Kyanjin Gompa, and Kinshung icefalls.
Day 6: Hike to Kyanjin-Ri [4,773 m] and back to Kyanjin Gompa in the afternoon.
Early in the morning, hike up to Kyanjin Ri (4770 m), the most anticipated vantage point, offering stunning vistas of Langshisha Ri, Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and other neighboring peaks. After spending quality time at the summit with your family, you can descend back to Kyanjin Gompa along a rugged trail marked by uneven landmarks and glacial moraines. You can either take a rest or wander through the beautiful village of Kyanjin Gompa, featuring centuries-old religious and cultural significance. Day 7: Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel [2,470 m].
After a delicious breakfast at Kyanjin Gompa, descending trails along the Langtang Khola will take you back to the Lama hotel. Most downhill walking makes your journey easier than the previous one. As you traverse quaint villages, such as Langtang village, Thyangsyapu, Ghoda Tabela, and Rimche, you will reach the Destination after hiking for 6 to 7 hours.
Day 8: Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi [1,503 m].
Today is your final day of hiking through the diverse landscapes of the Langtang region as you conclude walking at Syabrubeshi. Most descending trails along dense woodlands filled with pines, bamboo, and oaks take you to today’s pausing spot with an elevation drop of approximately 1100 meters.
Day 9: Drive back to Kathmandu [1,338m].
Leave the Langtang Valley behind with incredible Himalayan hiking through the rugged terrain of the Langtang region. Prepare for tomorrow’s travel to Chitwan National Park before bed.
Day 10: Drive to Chitwan National Park
After trekking in the Himalayas, you will drive to Chitwan National Park for several activities, including a jungle safari on elephant or jeep, bird watching, and cultural programs of Tharus.
